Eastbound Veterans Blvd. will be closed completely at Causeway Blvd., Friday morning, April 8, 1 a.m. – 5 a.m. in order for the contractor to install concrete girders for the new overpass.
Detour:
Follow the detour signs through the I-10/Causeway interchange:
Turn right on Southbound Causeway, then turn right onto the I-10 East ramp, exit immediately onto the Northbound Causeway off-ramp, then exit to Veterans from Northbound Causeway, and turn right on Eastbound Veterans.
Causeway Blvd., Northbound and Southbound at the I-10 overpass, will be completely closed from Saturday, April 9, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday morning, April 11, due to bridge construction overhead.
Detours: Northbound Causeway
Traffic will be detoured onto I-10. Drivers will have two routes:
1) I-10 East, exit on Bonnabel, north on Bonnabel, turn west on Veterans to return to Causeway.
2) I-10 West, exit on Clearview, north on Clearview, turn east on Veterans to return to Causeway.
Detour: Southbound Causeway
Traffic will be detoured onto ground-level Causeway north of the Veterans overpass, then turn right on Eastbound Veterans, left on Clearview, enter I-10 East, and then exit Causeway Southbound.
Westbound Veterans traffic should continue west on Veterans to Clearview.
Eastbound Veterans traffic will have to U-turn to Westbound Veterans to Clearview.
The I-10 East off-ramp to Northbound Causeway will also be closed and detoured to Bonnabel.
Access to the North Service Road via 26th Street will still be provided. The Eastbound Veterans right turn at Southbound Causeway will only be allowed for traffic towards the Service Road.
There are no vehicle restrictions.
