South Satsuma Road, Livingston Parish, Road Closure, H.006158 Bridge Replacement Project

South Satsuma Road Bridge over Colyell Creek (2.7 miles south of I-12) between Blount Cemetery Lane and Bill Wheat Road will be closed beginning November 5, 2012 until further notice. This road closure is necessary while crews remove and replace the existing bridge, install new drainage structures, and perform other related work. This work is expected to be complete in February 2013.
To avoid this road closure, northbound motorists may take S. Satsuma Road south to Perrilloux Road, east to LA 63, north to I-12, and west to S. South Satsuma Road. Southbound motorists may take S. Satsuma Road north to I-12, east to LA 63, south to Perrilloux Road, and west to S. Satsuma Road.
