Starting Monday, June 21, 6:00 am the I-10 West on-ramp from Northbound Causeway closed for 90 days while crews construct the new North Causeway to I-10 West on ramp.  When the new ramp is complete in late September, drivers will exit Northbound Causeway south of I-10, go over I-10 on the new ramp, and join the interstate at the same location as the existing ramp.  The ramp has been completed over I-10 without disrupting the existing ramp.  During the 90 day closure, the existing ramp will be severed from the Causeway overpass and the tie-in to the existing ramp. The new ramp from North Causeway ground-level to Veterans will also be constructed during this time.  

Detour:   From Northbound Causeway, take the South I-10 Service Rd. to Bonnabel and U-turn at Bonnabel to enter I-10 West.  This U-turn is located prior to the Bonnabel signal light.  Signs and message boards will be in place marking the detour route.

No vehicle restrictions.
