The inside lane of U.S. 190 westbound at the Amite River Bridge will be closed on Wednesday, May 26, and Thursday, May 27 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day to allow crews to build forms that will be used on the deck for the new eastbound bridge.

This closure will allow vehicles up to 11 feet wide to pass through the construction zone. The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles and loads are still under permit restrictions. Motorists may use I-12 as an alternate route.
