BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) considered bids totaling more than $57 million at its March 31 public bid opening, according to Gov. Bobby Jindal and DOTD Interim Secretary Sherri H. LeBas, P.E.

With a bid of $8,217,871.09, PCL Civil Constructors Inc., Tampa, Fla., was the low bidder on the most expensive job let March 31, a project in Ouachita Parish calling for structural steel repairs, bridge deck replacement and related work on the U.S. 80 Louisville Bridge.
