The following lane closures will take place at the intersection of Causeway and Veterans to allow crews to work on the new sections of the bridge structures.
 
Saturday, March 20, Northbound & Southbound Causeway Blvd. between I-10 & Veterans the right lane will be closed from 7 am – 6 pm.

Irish/Italian parade

During Sunday’s Irish/Italian parade on Veterans, I-10 West traffic headed to North Causeway will be directed onto the overpass.   Because of the ongoing construction, I-10 west traffic is currently directed through veterans and joins Northbound Causeway north of Veterans.  However, during Sunday’s parade, a temporary opening through the work zone will be provided allowing I-10 west traffic to use the overpass.  Once the parade is complete and Veterans is open, the connection to the overpass will be closed.

Traffic on Northbound Causeway should be prepared to stop as police officers may periodically stop the Northbound Causeway right lane to allow I-10 traffic to safely enter Causeway and to prevent traffic from backing-up on I-10 West.
