I-12, St. Tammany Parish, Lane Closures

There will be alternating, intermittent closures of the inside (left) or the outside (right) lanes of Eastbound I-12 and Westbound I-12, from mile post 82.1 near Donya Drive overpass to mile post 85.6, the I-10/I-12/I-59 interchange, on Thursday night, October 18, 2012 through TUESDAY morning, October 30, 2012 while the contractor places asphalt, installs rumble strips and permanent pavement markings on the roadway. One lane of traffic will be open at all times. The contractor may work Sunday night through Friday morning, 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.; Friday night to Saturday morning, 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.; Saturday night to Sunday morning, 8:00 p.m. to noon.
Permit/Detour
By law, oversize loads are not allowed to travel at night. Emergency vehicles will have access.
During the nightly construction, eastbound motorists may take I-12 to LA 434, South on LA 434 to US 190, East on US 190 to I-10, East on I-10 to I-12/I-59/I-10 interchange and westbound motorists may take I-10 to US 190 (Gause Boulevard), East on US 190 to LA 434 (Lacombe), North on LA 434 to I-12.
