DOTD to hold public meeting for study on widening of U.S. 190

BATON ROUGE, La. – The cities of Mandeville and Slidell, in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), St. Tammany Parish, Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc., and Urban Systems, Inc. (project engineering consultants), are conducting a public initiation meeting for the stage 0 feasibility study regarding the feasibility of widening U.S. 190 from La. 1089 (at Fontainebleau State Park) to US 11. The purpose of this meeting is to provide information about the study and to obtain input from interested parties.

The public initiation meeting will take place on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at 6 p.m. at the Lacombe Community Center (John Davis Park Gymnasium Community Center), 61050 North 12th Street, Lacombe, Louisiana 70445.
