Lane closures: I-210 EB between MM 1 and Exit 3: Full closure I-210 WB at Exit 3 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the following closures as part of the Interstate 210 Hurricane Laura lighting repairs.
I-210 Eastbound between Mile Marker 1 and Exit 3: Alternating, intermittent left and right lane closures:
- Tuesday, May 27, 2025, through Friday May 30, 2025, from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily.
These closures are necessary for crews to install ground mount light pole footings.
I-210 Westbound at Exit 3: Full closure:
- 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2025, until 4 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2025
- 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2025, until 4 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025
These closures are necessary for crews to install concrete barrier.
A continuous left lane closure along I-210 WB from Exit 3 to Mile Marker 1, starting just east of Cove Lane remains in place. The Cove Lane exit will remain open while this work is being completed.
An 11-foot width restriction will be in place during the project.
