Full closures: US 165 SB and NB at I-10 – Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parish

Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced US 165 Northbound and Southbound at I-10 will have full closures on the following days and times.
US 165 SB:
- 8 p.m. through 5 a.m. nightly, on Monday, May 12, 2025, and Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
US 165 NB:
- 8 p.m. through 5 a.m. nightly, on Sunday, May 18, 2025 and Monday, May 19, 2025.
Detour information:
US 165 NB:
- Detour US 165 Northbound by heading east onto I-10 South Frontage Road, then north onto LA 101, then north onto US 165.
- Detour I-10 Westbound by traveling west onto LA 3258, then north onto LA 383, then west onto I-10 Westbound on ramp.
US 165 SB:
- Detour west onto LA 101, then south onto LA 383, then east onto LA 3258, then south onto US 165.
- Detour I-10 Eastbound by traveling east onto I-10 NW Frontage Road, then south onto LA 383, then east onto I-10 Eastbound on ramp.
- The I-10 Westbound on ramp will remain open to US 165 Southbound traffic.
These closures are necessary for crews to conduct bridge removal associated with State Project H.002980: I-10 over US 165.
