***UPDATE***Lane closures: US 165 NB and SB at I-10 – Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parish

UPDATE: The work has been extended to May 27-30.
Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the left lanes of US 165 Northbound and Southbound at I-10 will be closed from Tuesday, May 27, 2025, through Friday, May 30, 2025.
The lane closures will be in effect over a 24-hour period each day. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place for both US 165 NB and SB throughout the duration of the closures.
These closures are necessary for crews to conduct bridge removal associated with State Project H.002980: I-10 over US 165.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
