***UPDATE***RESCHEDULED: Lane Closure MM 46 to 44 on I-10 WB - Jefferson Davis Parish

UPDATE: This closure has been rescheduled due to weather.
Jefferson Davis Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces a single lane closure from Mile Marker 46 to 44 on I-10 westbound to occur on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Traffic heading along I-10 westbound will be swapped onto the westbound inside diversion road and travel on the new portion of the I-10 westbound bridge. Once traffic is swapped, Exit 44 will be closed and remain closed until approximately February, 2026.
The closure is necessary for work crews to construct the new I-10 westbound bridge, travel lanes, exit and on-ramp associated with State Project H.002980: I-10 Overpass over US 165.
Detour route:
Motorists are advised to detour using LA 101, then traveling north to US 165, or by using LA 101, then traveling south to US 90, and then west to US 165.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
