BELLE CHASSE, LA. - The Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Replacement Project announces the following scheduled construction activities and anticipated traffic impacts. As always, these anticipated impacts are weather permitting and subject to potential changes.
Daytime: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Wednesday, 4/16
· LA 23 Southbound (RL) Zydecos to Engineers Rd.
Thursday, 4/17
· LA 23 Southbound (RL) Zydecos to Engineers Rd.
Friday, 4/18
· LA 23 Southbound (LL-RL varies) Engineers Rd. to Barriere Rd.
· LA 23 Northbound (LL-RL varies) Barriere Rd. to Engineers Rd.
Saturday, 4/19
· LA 23 Southbound (LL-RL varies) Engineers Rd. to Barriere Rd.
· LA 23 Northbound (LL-RL varies) Barriere Rd. to Engineers Rd.
Nighttime: 7:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.

NOTE: days marked with * indicate that evening’s construction activities include possible pile driving until 10pm. It necessary to perform this night work for several days to minimize daytime traffic impacts and maintain critical activities to complete the project. We thank the community for their understanding while this work is underway to allow for the timely construction of the X St. ramp.
