UPDATE: Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced nightly lane closures will be in effect along Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound at US 165 from Mile Marker 42 to Mile Marker 46 on the following days.- Thursday, April 24, 2025: Double LEFT lane closure on I-10 EB from MM 42 to MM 46.
All closures will be in effect between the hours of 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly.
The closure is necessary for crews to prepare for and implement the I-10 Eastbound traffic swap as part of State Project H.002980, I-10 overpass over US 165.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
