ROAD CLOSURE: Medical Drive at LA 511 (Jimmie Davis Bridge Project), Bossier Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the following road closures have been scheduled for Medical Drive at its intersection with LA 511 (Jimmie Davis Hwy) in Bossier City as part of the ongoing Jimmie Davis Bridge replacement project over the Red River.
- April 7-14, 2025: Northbound lanes of Medical Drive
- April 14-21, 2025: Southbound lanes of Medical Drive
These road closures are necessary to allow the contractor to install drainage structures at these locations, related to the ongoing work to widen and reconstruct LA 511.

Restrictions/Permits: Full closures at the specified locations.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
