DOTD to hold groundbreaking ceremony for I-12 widening project

 

What:              A groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the start of construction on the Interstate 12 widening project

 

When:             Friday, May 1, at 2 p.m.

 

Where:            The ceremony will be held in the parking lot of Bass Pro Shop, located at 175 Bass Pro Boulevard in Denham Springs.

 

                        From I-12 east, take the La. 3002 – Denham Springs exit (exit 10) and bear right on to South Range Avenue. Travel down South Range Avenue and turn right at the first traffic signal onto Bass Pro Boulevard. Travel down Bass Pro Boulevard and take a right at the third entrance to enter the back parking lot. The ceremony will be held in the back parking lot labeled “RV Parking.” Parking will be available near the ceremony.

 

In case of rain, the ceremony will be held in Bass Pro Shop’s conference room inside the store.
