Chelsea Drive at Jefferson Highway LA 73 - entrance closed

The entrance of Chelsea Drive to Jefferson Highway will be closed today for approximately 3 weeks (weather permitting) while crews remove the outside lane of Jeffersion Highway eastbound and begin the process of rebuilding the road base and tying it back into Chelsea Drive.
The Westmisnter Subdivision will still have three other entrances at Pine Park Dr., Fleet Dr. and Drusilla Dr.
This work is part of the larger La 73: US 61 (Airline) to Essen Lane Project rebuilding and resurfacing Jefferson Highway.
