Perkins Road Construction Update

Bluebonnet Boulevard – Essen Lane

Starting April 14, Hyacinth Avenue is scheduled to re-open. At this time traffic will be shifted to the new outside lanes of Perkins between Bluebonnet and just west of Dawson Creek Bridge while crews begin removing and rebuilding the inside lanes of Perkins.

This work is scheduled to last until mid to late June. During this time period, there will be no left turns or crossovers between Bluebonnet and just west of Dawson Creek Bridge. Hyacinth Road will be right-in and right-out only as well as all driveways in this area.

Eastbound traffic (headed toward Bluebonnet) will be able to turn left just before the intersection with Bluebonnet across from the entrance into the Matherne’s Shopping Center (the entrance between Fidelity Bank and CC’s Coffee House) in order to turn around and go westbound. Westbound traffic (headed toward Essen) will not be able to make a left turn until just past Dawson Creek Bridge.

Please use caution while driving through the construction zone.
