(UPDATE) LA 577 in East Carroll Parish: Road Closure

UPDATE (10/31/2024): LA 577 in East Carroll Parish is now back open to vehcile traffic. DOTD appreciates your patience during this road closure.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Monday, October 28, 2024, LA 577 in East Carroll Parish will be closed at the East Carroll and Madison Parish line. This closure is scheduled to last until Friday, November 1, 2024 and is necessary to allow DOTD to perform base construction, full lane patching, and paving operations. This work will be performed weather permitting.
Restriction/Permits:
LA 577 will be closed to all through traffic. All vehicles must detour.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
