***NOW OPEN: LA 563 at RR Crossing in Lincoln Parish***
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, LA 563 in Lincoln Parish at the railroad grade crossing will be closed to all vehicular traffic beginning 7:00 am Saturday, October 19. The closure is for CPKC Railroad to perform emergency crossing repairs.
Restrictions:
Closed to all vehicular traffic.
Safety Reminder:
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
DOTD reminds motorists that it is unsafe and unlawful to drive onto a closed road past a “road closed” barricade at any time for any reason.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
