Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the following nightly closures are scheduled on US 165 at Interstate 10.

  • Monday, September 30, 2024, and Tuesday, October 1, 2024: US 165 Southbound road closed between the I-10 Westbound on ramp and the I-10 Eastbound exit ramp from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly.
  • Wednesday, October 2, 2024, until Friday, October 4, 2024: US 165 Northbound and Southbound road closed between the I-10 Westbound on ramp and the I-10 Eastbound exit ramp from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly.

Detour routes:
US 165 NB:

Detour US 165 Northbound by heading east onto I-10 South Frontage Road, then north onto LA 101, then north onto US 165.
Detour I-10 Westbound by traveling west onto LA 3258, then north onto LA 383, then west onto I-10 Westbound on ramp at LA 383.

US 165 SB:

Detour west onto LA 101, then south onto LA 383, then east onto LA 3258, then south onto US 165.
The I-10 Westbound on ramp will remain open to US 165 Southbound traffic.
