DOTD wanted to reach out and let you know of an upcoming lane closure for eastbound and westbound US 190 Mississippi River Bridge in East and West Baton Rouge Parishes. The lane closure will take place from the West abutment of the bridge to the East abutment of the bridge. There may be one lane closed Monday, September 16 through Friday, September 20. This closure will be allowed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be allowed while crews work on bridge painting, bridge repair, and related work.

No wide loads will be permitted during this closure and those vehicles may detour using the I-10 Mississippi River Bridge.

This lane closure is subject to change depending on adverse weather conditions.
