DOTD announces overnight closure of St. Joseph Street at US 190 for drainage installation

MANDEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces a full overnight closure of St. Joseph Street at U.S. Highway 190 from 8 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013, to 6 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 7 while crews install a new drainage culvert under St. Joseph Street as part of the ongoing construction of an $11.3 million widening project. 

 

Motorists may detour via various local and state routes in the area. By law, oversize loads are not allowed to travel at night. All planned construction activities are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
