UPDATE - REOPENED: LA 3005 over Redwine Creek near Grambling, Lincoln Parish


(UPDATE): DOTD advises motorists that these repairs are complete and this bridge has been REOPENED.

Original notification:

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, effective immediately, the LA 3005 bridge over Redwine Creek near the City of Grambling in Lincoln Parish is closed for emergency repair.

This bridge is located immediately south of the intersection with US 80 (see included map).

This closure is scheduled to be in place for approximately one week, and is necessary to allow DOTD crews to perform repairs to the structure.

Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.

Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
