New Orleans—The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces an additional temporary lane closure on the US 90 Business Crescent City Connection Bridges (CCC) associated with the $21 million CCC Decorative Lighting Project.
Over the next three weeks, from July 23 to August 11, the HOV lane will be closed Tuesday through Sunday, 4 AM to 1 PM, to allow the contractor to work on the far side bridge piers outside of the protected barricaded area.
Important Details:
- These additional closures do not affect west bank-bound HOV traffic. The HOV lane will be available to west bank-bound traffic daily from 1 PM – 4 AM, as usually scheduled.
- Four full lanes will remain open to east bank-bound traffic, 24 hours daily.
- DOTD anticipates that the 4 AM—1 PM closure schedule should minimize additional backup issues.
- The HOV lane will be open to east bank-bound traffic on Mondays from 5 AM – 12 PM.
