The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weather permitting, bridge ramp D-7 on I-49 (Southbound) over I-49, US 167, AND RAMPS will be closed to all traffic for bridge maintenance. The bridge is at Exit 84 that carries traffic from I-49 Southbound to US 167 Northbound (Pineville Expressway) and is located at the I-49 / US 167 INTERCHANGE.
Permit/Detour section
The road will be closed to all traffic while the inspection is being performed by LA DOTD personnel.
I-49 Southbound traffic will detour at Exit 90/LA 498 Westbound to LA 1 Southbound to US 71/165 Northbound to US 167 (Pineville Expressway).
