DOTD announces $1.6 million road preservation project in St. Bernard Parish

ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces the start of a $1.6 million project to rehabilitate La. 39 (Judge Perez Drive) from La. 47 (Paris Road) to the Lake Borgne Canal Bridge in St. Bernard Parish. The project is designed to restore and preserve the existing roadway.

Forby Contracting, Inc. of Minnesota will perform the work, which will include concrete patching on the portions of the roadway and overlaying the asphalt section on Judge Perez from Paris to the bridge. The project is scheduled for completion by May 2014.
