UPDATE: The Cameron Ferry will remain out of service until Monday, September 30th at 5pm, pending availability of replacement parts. DOTD appreciates your patience and will provide another update once more information becomes available.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the Cameron Ferry is currently out of service until further notice due to mechanical issues.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through construction sites and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
