Lane closure: I-10 WB from MM 7 to MM 8.5 (Exit 8) – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the right lane of Interstate 10 Westbound from Mile Marker 7 to Mile Marker 8.5 (Exit 8) will be closed, starting 9 a.m. Sunday, February 18, 2024, until 9 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
This will be a continuous closure.
Alternate routes:
Motorists can exit onto LA 27 going north, turn left onto US 90 going west, turn left on LA 3063 in Vinton and use the on-ramp to re-enter I-10 WB.
The closure is necessary for crews to construct a temporary detour.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
