GRETNA, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces a complete closure of the US 90 B service road in Gretna, at ground level and in both directions, from 7 p.m. Saturday, March 23 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 25, for rehabilitation of a railroad crossing between the Evergreen and Ehret Crossing intersections.

The detour to travel around the closure is the elevated Westbank Expressway. An additional two-lane closure will follow on Monday at 8:30 a.m., in order to allow for the placement of asphalt on the track crossing. All lanes will be reopened by 3:30 p.m.

Drivers may experience travel delays in the area due to the service road closure. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through work zones and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
