DOTD announces Annunciation Street closure

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces the closure of Annunciation Street between river bound and lake bound Calliope Street on US 90 Business. This closure will remain in effect until Sunday, February 3, to accommodate special events in the area of the convention center.

·         Traffic approaching on Annunciation will be forced to turn right on Calliope.

 

·         Traffic approaching on River bound Calliope will be forced to turn right on Annunciation.

 

·         Traffic exiting elevated expressway at Annunciation Street will not be allowed to turn on Annunciation.

DOTD appreciates the patience of the motoring public as these temporary traffic control restrictions are implemented.
