BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that the La. 663 bridge over Bayou L’Ourse will be closed beginning at noon until further notice due to deficiencies found during a routine bridge inspection. DOTD is in the process of finalizing plans on an estimated $1 million to $2.5 million project that will involve building a new bridge at this location. Bids are currently scheduled to be taken for the work in November 2013.
