The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) is conducting an open house  public meeting for the proposed Essen Lane Widening project. The project limits extend from the intersection of Perkins Road and Essen Lane to the Interstate 10 Eastbound On/Off Ramps. The purpose of this meeting is to provide information about the project and to obtain input from interested parties.  Issues to be addressed include project alternatives, environmental concerns, and socioeconomic issues.  Verbal and written comments on the project will be collected.  The public meeting has been scheduled as follows:
