Good afternoon, this is a brief update on the US 61 Resurfacing and Safety Improvements From LA 22 to LA 74.

Completed: Our crews have completed all roadway resurfacing and ground-in rumble strips

Current Work: The crews are grinding out the deficient areas of roadway and installing concrete pavement in median areas, guard rail asphalt pads and guard rails. A few side road turnouts remain to be paved.

Remaining Work: Final dressing and clean up throughout the project limits and reinstallation of street lights.

This project is still expected to be finished by Late January-early February.
