In Bossier City, Louisiana, DOTD is proposing to replace pavement on portions of eastbound and westbound I-20 and rehabilitate eight bridges. The proposed construction will begin approximately 0.30 mile east of Westerfield Street and proceed northeastward, stopping approximately 530 feet east of Industrial Drive. It is anticipated that the proposed project may require the closure of travel lanes during construction. DOTD will prepare a Categorical Exclusion (CE) to assess the environmental effects associated with the proposed project.
The meeting will follow an open house format. A continuous presentation will be shown describing the proposed project and the environmental documentation process. Informational materials will be distributed and graphic displays will be available for viewing. Representatives from DOTD will be at the open house to receive comments, answer questions, and discuss issues related to the project. As desired by individual attendees, verbal comments will be recorded at the meeting. Written statements can either be submitted at the meeting or mailed to the address shown below, postmarked within ten (10) days following the meeting.
Should you require special assistance to participate in this public meeting, please contact the Environmental Section at the address below, or by telephone at (225) 242-4502, at least 5 working days prior to the date of the meeting.
