DOTD announces closure of Harvey Bridge

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces the Harvey Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic on Friday, November 16 at 6:00 p.m. until Sunday, November 18 at 6:00 p.m., for mechanical repair.

Work crews will be replacing valves and other parts and the bridge will not be operable during the time of repair. Motorists may detour via the West Bank Expressway.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
