***NOW OPEN: LA 3048 in Richland Parish****
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, effective immediately, a bridge on LA 3048 over Bee Bayou, approximately 2.0 miles north of LA 584, just south of Rayville, in Richland Parish is closed.
This closure is due to deterioration of bridge components.
DOTD crews are working to begin repairs, which are anticipated to be complete by Sunday, August 20, 2023, weather permitting.
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to detour.
Alternate Route:The detour route will be LA 3048, LA 584, and US 425.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
