Lane closures will continue to occur on the Northbound and Southbound directions of US 61 from LA-22 to LA-939 daily, 9/10/12 through 9/28/12 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. while crews saw cut, excavate for turn lanes, mill and pave the roadway.

In addition, lane closures will continue to occur on the Northbound and Southbound directions of US 61 from LA-939 to LA-74 nightly, 9/10/12 through 9/28/12 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Thursdays. They will also occur from 2 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sundays while crews saw cut, excavate for turn lanes, mill and pave the roadway.

This closure will allow vehicles 11-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone.  The road will be open for regular traffic, but oversize vehicles must contact the DOTD permit office prior to moving through the construction zone.
