The Prospect Bridge Project was most recently delayed by Hurricane Isaac and a damaged control desk. The damage to the desk was discovered upon delivery. The control desk is located in the operator’s house. It houses all the controls that operate the bridge.
The current expected time of completion is this winter, more than likely early November. DOTD’s contractor has been working 6-7 days a week to deliver this project. Though it has had its share of challenges, it will be delivered safely and efficiently for the citizens of Terrebonne Parish.
