BRIDGE CLOSURE: LA 151 Bridge over Cypress Creek, Lincoln Parish

** The LA 151 bridge over Cypress Creek closure previously scheduled to begin Tuesday, June 6, 2023 is postponed until further notice. This notice will be updated when a new closure date is scheduled. **
LA 151 approximately 2.8 miles west of Downsville, LA will be closed to all through traffic beginning Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in order to replace the Cypress Creek Bridge. This closure is related to an ongoing project to replace four bridges along LA 151 in Lincoln and Union Parishes.
Permit/Detour Section
Restrictions: The roadway in the described area will be closed to all traffic.
Detour: A detour route will be signed and provided for the duration of the closure. All vehicles must detour using LA 822 and LA 33.

LA DOTD and Brown Industrial Construction, Inc. appreciate your patience and remind you to drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
