UPDATE (7/19/23): LA 835 has been reopened to all through traffic as of 11 AM on July 19, 2023.
LA 835 in Morehouse Parish will be closed to all through traffic from Tuesday, May 16, 2023, through Monday, July, 17, 2023. LA 835 will be closed from the intersection of LA 835 and Wesley Bunch Road to the intersection of LA 835 and Holly Ridge Road. The road closure is required to remove and replace an existing 0.587 mile section of the LA 835 roadway. The closure is expected to take 60 calendar days, weather permitting.
Permit/Detour Section
Restrictions: No restrictions to traffic at this time.
Detour: No formal detour route is required at this time. LA 835 is open to all through traffic.
