DOTD suspends toll collections to facilitate evacuation, emergency and protective services

Leeville, La - Today, in response to the declared state of emergency caused by Tropical Storm Debby, DOTD is suspending toll collections at LA 1 in Leeville to facilitate evacuation, emergency and protective services.

DOTD, under authority of Title 48 and as agent for the Louisiana Transportation Authority (LTA), hereby declares that the tolls will be suspended from this date until the need for evacuation or emergency services cease as determined by DOTD.

DOTD will notify the traveling public when tolling services resume.
