I-12 St. Tammany Parish Lane Closure

The I-12 eastbound on ramp from Hwy. 11 exit 83 and the outside right-hand eastbound lane on I-12, between Vincent Bayou Bridge to the Robert Road overpass will be closed on Saturday, August 11, from 8 PM to Sunday, August 12, at noon, and Sunday, August 12, from 6 PM to Monday, August 13, at 6 AM, while crews overlay the existing bridge (weather permitting). One lane of traffic will be open at all times.

Permit/Detour Section
To avoid the lane closure, eastbound travelers may take I-12 to LA 434 (Lacombe), South on LA 434 to US 190, East on US 190 to I-10.  Emergency vehicles will have access.

Also on I-12, from Tangipahoa Parish Line to Abita Springs eastbound and westbound, the outside right-hand lane and the inside left-hand lane in each direction will be closed intermittently from Thursday, August 9 through Monday, August 13 from 9 am - 4 pm (weather permitting).  One lane in each direction will remain open at all times.  This lane closure will allow crews to use a moving operation to install new pavement markers. The road is open for regular traffic.

To avoid construction take US 190 as an alternate route.
