Old Sterlington Road Closure – Ouachita Parish H.007289

The City of Monroe and the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning 7:00 AM on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, Old Sterlington Road will be closed to through traffic between Bon Aire Drive and Paige Drive. This closure is required to allow the installation of new cross drains for the project.

The extent of this closure is anticipated to take approximately three days.

Restrictions: No restrictions noted. The roadway will be closed to through traffic.

Detour: Detour route has been established using US Highway 165, Fink’s Hide-A-Way Road, Bon Air Drive and Northeast Drive.

Safety Reminder: The City of Monroe and DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
