UPDATE: Reeds Bridge Road is now open.

Allen Parish -- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that on Monday, April 10, 2023, Reeds Bridge Road will be closed west of Reeds Cemetery Road and east of South River Road.
The closure is necessary for work crews to remove and replace Reeds Bridge over Calcasieu River Relief.
Weather permitting, the closure is expected to remain until the end of October 2023.
DOTD advises motorists to detour using the follow routes: Reeds Bridge Road, US 165, LA 10, LA 3205, and South River Road.
Emergency vehicles will not have access across the Calcasieu River Relief.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
