Notice is hereby given that the Regional Planning Commission (RPC), in association with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) will conduct a Public Meeting in support of the widening of LA 406 (Woodland Highway) to four lane capacity from LA 23 (Belle Chasse Hwy.) to LA 407 (Gen De Gaulle Blvd.), Plaquemines and Orleans Parishes, Louisiana.

The Public Meeting will be an Open House event; interested citizens are invited to arrive at any time during the times on the date and at the location listed below.

The Meeting will include a presentation of the project information.  Interested citizens will be afforded the opportunity to provide written and verbal comments on the record.  Representatives of the RPC, the LADOTD, and the project team will be present to provide information relative to the general location and design features of the roadway, and any other matters of interest.  All interested citizens are invited and encouraged to attend.

Written statements and other exhibits in lieu of, or in addition to, verbal statements made at the Public Meeting must be submitted to the address below and postmarked by May 7, 2012.  Written statements also may be submitted through that date by electronic mail directly to pat.owens@volkert.com.   All comments must include the name and address of the person commenting.
