RESCHEDULED! LA 98 (Gloria Switch Road) at Mills Street, Lafayette Parish, Lane Closure & Traffic Shift

UPDATE: This closure has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 1, due to weather conditions.
The eastbound lane of LA 98 (Gloria Switch Road) at Mills Street will be closed on Thursday, March 2, to allow crews to install asphalt paving and to shift LA 98 traffic to the temporary diversion road.
The work is expected to take place that night from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m, weather permitting.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays.
No detour is necessary.
