LA 73 Widening from I-10 to US 61 (Airline Hwy) Project Update

Completed work:  All the clearing of the right of way is complete. About 75% of the box culverts, the square concrete drainage pipes, which will replace the 20 foot long bridge over the Grand Goudine Canal, have been installed.

Current work: The contractor is laying storm drain pipe along the project. The contractor will continue to install the remaining box culverts where the bridge was removed.  Also, sewer pipe installation is ongoing near the box culvert location.
