The lane has been reopened.
Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces an emergency closure of the left lane at Interstate 10 Westbound between Mile Marker 6 and Exit 4 (Mile Marker 4), starting immediately, on Friday, January 13, 2023, until further notice.
The closure is necessary for crews to replace damaged temporary concrete barriers.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
