UPDATE #1: This closure has been extended to Friday, September 1, weather permitting.

The inside lane of I-10, both eastbound and westbound, between mile marker 66 (Acadia/Jeff Davis Parish Line) and mile marker 103 (I-49 Interchange) will have intermittent, nightly closures beginning Monday, January 9 until Friday, June 30, 2023, weather permitting.

These inside lane closures will occur during the following times:

• Sunday – Thursday: 8:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.

• Fridays: 9:00 p.m. – 9:00 a.m.

• Saturdays: 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 a.m.

These closures are necessary to allow crews to install new traffic cable barriers, embankment and drainage structures in the median.

There will be no vehicle width restrictions associated with these closures.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area, but may encounter delays. No detour route is necessary.
